PSIA-NW Mission Statement: Provide high quality educational resources and well defined standards to aid our members in improving their teaching skills to better satisfy the needs and expectations of their customer in the enjoyment of downhill and Nordic snowsports.

PNISA-EF Mission Statement: Develop educational materials, curriculum, programs, well defined standards and processes to administer those standards in support of the needs and expectations of our members to increase and enhance their teaching skills.

Administer all membership programs in a cost effective manner in accordance with our mission statement.

Expand & administer our membership to better serve the public with well educated, skilled and ethical prof-essional instructors. Develop educational materials, curriculum and programs to continuously upgrade the instructional skills of our members. Develop and administer standards to assure uni-formity and consistency in teaching skills by our Certified instructors. Market our educational products efficiently and communicate effectively with our membership, the industry and the public. Promote and encourage the growth in participation in downhill and Nordic snowsports.
